We offer a very wide range of services, from PC Manufacture and support, to Telephone Systems - and everything inbetween. Most of our work arises from recommendation - this is primarily due to our core values, our general operating principles and our dedication to customer care. The majority of our business comes from within the Yorkshire region, but the full portfolio of our customers extends worldwide - indeed, our customers are diverse in both their background and requirements. Our philosophy is that good customer care leads to customer retention; we provide a superior quality product, with a superb after-sales service. Because our customers are happy with our work, they tend to do our advertising for us, hence, we advertise very rarely; a fact that we are most proud of! Our core values are simple: honesty, committment to customer and quality -and we adhere to them rigidly.
We are serious about quality. Components are carefully selected, parts are tracked and recorded, suppliers are checked and continuity of supply is maintained. We have a structured Test Management System, keeping prices down by using knowledge and prior experience to determine those combinations of components that work together and, just as important, those that don't; all extremely helpful when designing new systems. We have excellent Quality Assurance measures in place and we have invested heavily to ensure we have the right tools for the job, enhancing our product quality and allowing us to offer more services than ever before. Unlike most others, components used are selected according to requirement, not just what's on the shelf...., and never just because something is on special offer. Neither are we tied to a supplier, or lead provider, like many others are, which means they sell or use what's dictated to them. We are Truly Independent. We listen to our customers to ensure we exceed their requirements, whether Home or Business users. We will consider almost anything, from help with setting up your email to design and construction of specialist Networks, PCs and Servers, including those for use in adverse environmental conditions. Whilst we originate from the small scale production of high quality business machines, more of our work today is in the home market, where we can prove ourselves to truly give 100% Commitment to Customer and Quality, by demonstration of our helpful and understanding attitude. We work on a low price, fixed cost basis - almost all work is conducted to an agreed ceiling limit, discussed with the customer prior to charging. All work is fully guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. We have very comprehensive insurance cover for all work we undertake, and all our staff are insured.
CPCD Ltd is a member of the PCA (Professional Computing Association); this means that we adhere to a code of practice, in addition to our own Quality Manual. Membership of the PCA is voluntary - our first year was awarded to us by Microsoft as a reward for exhibiting high standards of staff training. We have been Microsoft partners since before the business was even trading. For us, membership of the PCA is simply a progression of our commitment to Quality and dedication to providing a superior level of customer care. Adherence to the code of practice means we put the customer first. Furthermore, in order to standardise the routine tasks as far as possible, we also follow our Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures. As innovators, these procedures are continually evolving. We keep a close eye on developments and new technologies - ensuring that we are kept up to date at all times.
